GARCIA TRIO
"Garcia Trio" is a result of incohesive composing creations culminating over the period of almost 15 years. Some compositions were made by collaboration and others were composed as a personal expression of the moment. We have all felt the potential of our music but this was never so clear as it was in the past 12 months when we started to classify old demos, sessions and jams.
The excitement of finally making our material see the light of day has overwhelmed us, which was clearly stated from our bassist and co-writer of some songs Goran Kosić.
We are excited to present to you the first of a two-part "exploration of music" that started with a jam session a year ago. It was one of the best jam sessions we had as a trio. It was quite a journey to get to this stage, but somewhere along the way we found ourselves to be fulfilled and immersed by the music we discovered in ourselves. We hope you’ll enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

"Garcia Trio" is a band from Rijeka, Croatia with a tendency for composing instrumental music with some progressive elements.
Band members are: - Nikola Srzentić (Guitar)
- Goran Kosić (Bass)
- Edin Botić (Drums)
"Stratosphere" and "Descent" are twe parts of one composition. This composition was created around year and a half ago, while one of the usual jam sessions we had as a trio in Garcia Production Studio. A lot of times we didnt record our sessions but on that specific day Goran decided to turn on his "voice recorder" on his iPhone. We are very thankfull for that recoding because it was a blueprint for creating "Stratosphere" and "Descent".
"New Dawn" is an older song, composed by Goran and Nikola around 2008. This composition had lots of versions and arrangements and was also the main reason Nikola later composed "Majestic" which was originaly an orcestration made to complement "New Dawn" but later took a life of its own and is still in the process of creation. "New Dawn" was naturaly the next step after "Stratosphere" and "Descent" because it had the similar feeling. Also we are proud to inform you that "New Dawn" was entered in the "EZdrummer Songwriting Competition" and won 34th place out of 3000 enteries from around the world.
Midsummer Harvest
Last creation coming from "Garcia Trio" is "Midsummer Harvest". This is the song with very uplifting spirit. Goran and Nikola composed this song too and in their own words - "It's a happy song! ...while we were composing this song, we had that midsummer feeling of happiness on our minds, that moment when you get up in the morning, realising that the crops of your work are payed off...one of those rare perfest days when all your worries disapear". This type of a song isn't composed in the same maner as the three songs before, but with a clever
arranging it gives a littlebit of the recognisable styl but also gives the whole album a new dimension that shows openness within the composition craft it self.
HOW AND WHEN?
All the songs preformed by "Garcia Trio" are recorded in Garcia Production Studios. Editing process i covered by Nikola while all postproduction is made in colaboration with Goran and Edin.
Videos are also made by Nikola with a little help from Goran.
"Garcia Trio" is hoping to release their first album in mid 2015. "By releaseing it through online services like iTunes, Deezzer, we are hoping to reach more people interested in our work and making our songs easy to purchase. After releasing the album we will also have links to iTunes from this webpage."
